HHP is pleased to announce the release of the Dolphin 9501 with extended range scanning.

The Dolphin 9501 mobile computers share the same robust core architecture, environmental specifications and rugged, ergonomic form factor as the Dolphin 9500 Series with the addition of an integrated laser scanner.

The optional, integrated laser scanner provides enhanced scanning functionality for applications that require extended range one-dimensional bar code scanning performance. Applications that require long range scanning are typically enterprise warehousing where the extended range scanner is used for picking, cross docking, and inventory management applications.

The Dolphin 9550 mobile computer, with an integrated pistol grip for intensive bar code read applications, delivers unparalleled performance and value for all mobile data collection and communication applications. The Dolphin 9550 high-tech architecture -- Microsoft® Windows Mobile™, integrated Wireless Full Area Networking™ (WFAN) with co-located GSM/GPRS, 802.11b, and Bluetooth™ radios provide real-time voice and data acquisition, and information access, anytime and anywhere. The Shift Plus high-capacity Lithium-Ion battery enables the mobile computers to operate longer in wireless, scan-intensive environments.

Powered by HHP’s exclusive Adaptus™ Imaging Technology, the Dolphin 9550 can be used by the worker to quickly read virtually all bar codes, take photos of damaged goods, capture signatures and archive and retrieve data quickly. Its lightweight, ergonomic, and rugged design provides ease of use and operational reliability in robust mobile applications such as transportation, parcel delivery, retail, warehousing, and industrial/manufacturing.

The Dolphin 9551 mobile computers share the same robust core architecture, environmental specifications and rugged, ergonomic form factor as the Dolphin 9500 Series with the addition of an integrated laser scanner.
