Database Format Guide

JLP Database guide

From 1 April 2011, we are implementing changes to the way that JLP (John Lewis Partnership labels are ordered.

After a review of the current process, it became apparent that the system needed overhauling.

A large percentage of the Excel sheets we receive need editing in order make them usable with our
software. The most common issues are sheets that include unwanted data i.e. customers part numbers, order
numbers, cell formatting etc.

Therefore, from 1 April 2011 we will only accept orders that are supplied using a correctly formatted
Excel sheet.

The Guide outlined on these pages is for your reference. It shows you the exact layout we require.

Failure to follow this guide could lead to delays in your order.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
