Loftware Print Server


Loftware Print Server is a server based software solution for managing and processing label and RFID requests from corporate applications. This enterprise-class solution is a highly scalable and fault tolerant system that is designed to handle thousands of requests targeted to hundreds (or thousands) of printers with all of the appropriate queuing, status, and recovery features that are needed in such a system. Many integration options provide the flexibility needed to optimize the Loftware Print Server to the specific needs of your system design and implementation requirements.


The Loftware Print Server is available in 3 editions: Starter, Standard, Premier.

Loftware Print Server, Starter Edition

The Loftware Print Server™, Starter Edition is the perfect solution for companies that want to begin using the LPS client/server technology at an entry-level price. This edition allows two (2) printer seats and one (1) client seat. This edition is expandable to multiple printer seats. The purchase of the Loftware Print Server™ includes a one-year renewable support contract, which features on-going software upgrades and unlimited technical support from Loftware's Technical Support Call Center.




Basic Features: Includes 2 Printer Seats/ 1 Client Seat Configuration


The Loftware Print Server, Starter Edition is an economical way to start driving all your label printers from a central server and application within your enterprise. This Edition comes standard with 2 printer seats and 1 client seat. All Loftware Products are sold with a one year, renewable Annual Support Contract, which includes unlimited technical support from Loftware's Technical Support Call Center and free software upgrades.



Loftware Print Server, Standard Edition

The Loftware Print Server™, Standard Edition comes with eight (8) printer seats and two (2) client seats. This edition is expandable to multiple printer seats. The purchase of the Loftware Print Server™ includes a one-year renewable support contract, which features on-going software upgrades and unlimited technical support from Loftware's Technical Support Call Center.

The Loftware Print Server, Standard Edition is Loftware's mid-entry Print Server solution and includes (8) Printer Seats and (2) Client Seats. All Loftware Products are sold with a one year, renewable Annual Support Contract, which includes unlimited technical support from Loftware's Technical Support Call Center and free software upgrades.



Loftware Print Server, Premier Edition

It's Loftware's most powerful bar code print server software platform! The Loftware Print Server™ (LPS™), Premier Edition, is not just a network printing solution, but a truly global host and client/server-based bar code printing solution. This solution is fully optimized, engineered and field tested to drive 100's of different printers (and printer types) simultaneously in heavy-duty, supply chain production environments. This robust solution enables you to connect a corporate-wide set of applications to a network of printers across your LAN/WAN, via the Internet and to wireless devices.




Basic Features: Includes 10 Printer Seats/4 Client Seats.


Advanced tools only found in the Loftware Print Server, Premier Edition, provide system and printer-wide e-mail notification, synchronous TCP/IP socket communications with the host application, backup fault tolerant NT clustering and a wide variety of integrated LAN/WAN and Internet client interfaces.


Client interfaces to the Loftware Print Server, Premier Edition, provide immense printing flexibility making it possible to print 'thinly' from PC's, mobile wireless Palm and CE devices. For blistering speed, TCP/IP sockets are used by the LPS to connect to thermal transfer and Windows printers.


ERP/MRPII, WMS, Internet and other applications running on PC Servers, as well as UNIX, LINUX, AS/400 operating systems can immediately start printing to local, LAN/WAN and remotely attached Internet or wireless connected printers directly through the Loftware Premier Print Server.
